Basar Özbilen, Founding Partner
Mr Ozbilen started his career in a renowned law firm in 2003. In 2011, he joined the law department of an international consulting firm. After many years as a managing senior associate in corporate law and tax disputes, he started his own practice in 2018. Being a member of the Istanbul Bar, Mr Ozbilen has an LLM in International Trade Law and he is a Marmara Law Faculty alumni.
Mr Ozbilen has extensive corporate and tax law experience on which he represents his clients in tax and corporate disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, financings and similar transactions. His expertise consists of confiscation procedures, leveraged finance, high-yield securities, bridge loans, the instrumentalization of debt and other structured finances.
